"Actions Not Words" The Krewe of the Black Heart strives to portray mulitiple time periods. Mostly, we follow the Golden Age of Piracy through dress, action and demeanor.
We are the oldest Pyrate Krewe in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, forming back in 1982. We were then know as the Maiden's Pub Association. We began our life as the Krewe on the Black Heart in 2008 with the addition of a spanish galleon parade float. We, now have evovled into a 501c3 Non-Profit Florida Corperation. This allow us to provide tax breaks to those who donate to keep history alive

We have been participating int this event for over 10 years. With sponsorship from the Tybee Light House and Museum, We are able to bring our float some 4 hours journey to be in the parade and fire our cannon.
